This 2010 Wharton Wines Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is complex with intense aromas of black cherry; clove, cassis and subtle hints toasty vanilla compliment a solid body of ripe fruit on the palate. The wine is structured but elegant, with soft, velvety tannins and a perfect acid/tannin balance that will ensure its long-term ageability. The grapes are from a single premium small vineyard located in Oakville. With almost 3 years in both American and French oak barrel. Very limited production, get it while you can. Enjoy!
